High-Efficiency Furnaces
Efficiency ratings are a big concern these days as we want energy and cost savings in our homes. The annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) rating given to furnaces is used to measure the energy efficiency of a heating system.
Most residential heating systems available provide an AFUE rating of 80%. High-efficiency furnaces will start at a minimum of 90% and going as high as 98%. Choosing one with a rating of at least 90% helps ensure you get the highest possible performance out of your heating system for years to come. Systems with higher AFUE ratings can be more expensive, so be sure to discuss this with your technician to find the right fit to keep your home and family comfortable.

High-Efficiency Boiler

Air Quality
UV Light Air Purification
If you find yourself sneezing frequently, are noticing a lot of dust buildup, dryness, or just overall home “staleness”, you may want to consider an indoor air purification system. UV is proven effective at sterilizing mold and other biological contaminants and reduces the need for system cleaning.
The EPA says that indoor air pollution is often five times worse than the outdoors and represents a significant health risk. Using UV to improve indoor air quality, we are sterilizing mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens from the air as it cycles through the central air system.
