I use Furnace Guy each year to keep my furnace and AC in good shape. Yesterday, it just stopped making cool air. I checked everything I could check, but had no clue as to the problem. I called Furnace Guy this morning, a Saturday, and said I need ser... vice today because we have dinner guests coming this evening. Evan made it hear just after lunch. He opened up the compressor outside and figured out in about two minutes that the capacitor had died. Evan ran out and got the replacement, came back and had it installed in no time. He reassembled the compressor, cleaned up, and was done. Beside getting my problem fixed on a weekend, I appreciated how clear Evan was about costs from the outset, and he actually finished the job with a lower price tag than I expected. Toby, the owner, came to check out our A/C unit. While he has determined we have a leak, he tried to find it and was not able to find it today, but will return by early next week, in order to pinpoint the leak. That process may take a full day. He wa... s nice enough to refill the coolant, so we can use the system, if needed, until their return. This is a company that stands by their products and their work. We have used them for our furnace, a/c and hot water tank, and have nothing but praise for their work ethic and honesty. We highly recommend them. Read more
